Description
Hunza Step Lite Eyelid 12 Volt has been designed to be installed in the side wall of outside steps. The eyelid shades 50% of the lamp therefore eliminating any upward glare. Step lighting is an important part of any exterior lighting project for both safety and aesthetic purposes. Available in powder coated aluminium, solid copper, or 316 stainless steel.
Solidly constructed from 63.5 x 10mm thick aluminium, complete with clear tempered glass lens and silicon gaskets.
A Step Lite canister is available as an optional accessory for this fitting and will show at check out. The internal O-rings in the canister make the installed luminaires difficult to remove, therefore making them harder to steal; a priceless accessory for public installations.
By default the fitting comes without a canister and with fixing holes in the flange. If ordering a canister fixing holes will not be required so select that option before check out.
It is recommended to use a retrofit 12volt LED lamp with this fitting.

Alternatively go to the LED Lamps page on this site. It can also be used with a 12volt halogen – 20, 35 or max. 50 watt lamp. By default this fitting comes supplied as standard complete with a high quality 20 watt European halogen lamp. A transformer or constant voltage driver will be required with this 12 volt fitting.
Hunza Step Lite Eyelid 12 Volt is also available in a GU10 version for connection direct to Mains power or with Pure Integral LED.
